“As the only distracted driving awareness organization in the state, I wanted to give the men, women, and young people we work with and for an opportunity to celebrate all that we have accomplished on our roadways, and to share those victories with others,” Thompson said about the event. “Sometimes this work can be hard, but I thought the gala would be a great opportunity for us as a community to reflect on the wins, honor the losses, and have a little fun in our best looking sneakers and fancy dress.”
